Here is a 2013 Gibson Moderne Zakk Wylde artist series for your consideration. It was made at the Gibson factory in Tennessee, U.S.A. and is numbered #47 of the original run.  You may or may not be familiar with the band Gemini Parks.  This exact guitar appears in their video "Up all Night" played by the muscleman with the case of Zima on his shoulder...seriously-check it out.  Let's get Wylde.  (sorry)

This guitar has been modified from the original version.  Gone is the floating tremolo bridge and locking nut, along with the EMG active pickups.  It has a more stabilized roll-over bridge/tailpiece and more conventional Gibson '57 classic humbucker pickups.  Also, the pickup switch has been moved from the upper rear bout to the spot where the rear tone knob used to live.  There is a piece of wood in the vibrato cavity.  The black Grover tuners were switched in favor of Nickel Grover tuners. No additional holes were drilled in the guitar anywhere-so a person could return the guitar to original spec, if they were so inclined.

The body is a Mahogany slab with a maple top.  The finish is nice with minimal handling evidence.  The Maple neck is straight and smooth.  The neck is best described as a 1950's vintage-C profile.  The girth measures .819" at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th fret.  The nut measures 1.70" wide.  The tuners all work smoothly.  The headstock and logo display excellent-the forked headstock shape gets a lot of compliments.  The ebony fingerboard is clean and the position markers look really nice.   The frets are the large variety with the original Gibson nibs in excellent condition. The frets have an excellent height and appear like-new condition-see photos. The action is set low for an easy playing experience.  Currently the string height measures .010" at the 1st fret and .040" at the 12th fret.   The action can be easily raised-if that is your preference.  It is as low as it can be, currently.  The guitar plays really nice up and down the fingerboard with zero deadspots.

The pickups have an excellent signal.  The neck position measures 8.14 ohms and the bridge position measures 7.82 ohms.  They were installed in reverse positions-so the bottom of the bridge pickup reads "neck".  This mellows out the brightness of the maple neck somewhat.  The controls are volume and tone with a 3-way selector switch.  No additional holes were drilled on the guitar anywhere.

The guitar weighs 8.56 lbs.  It is fun to play and obviously very unusual.

Comes with original Gibson hard case.
