Here's a really clean 2012 Fender Jazzmaster player series in original 3 color sunburst finish. The guitar was made in Mexico and features a slab fingerboard and other vintage touches. The guitar was purchased new, and obviously not played much at all-it is in exceptional condition. The guitar is now set up and ready to play.
The body has front and rear contours and a very comfortable feel. The vintage 3-color sunburst finish has a nice gloss and shine to it that add to the vintage vibe. It is in really good condition front and back. The neck joint is soldi and and excellent fitment. The neck itself is smooth and straight with no issues. The profile is best descrobed as a vintage U-shape like most 60's Fenders. It measures .825" deep at the 1st fret and .905" deep at the 12th fret. The nut measures 1.64" wide. The tuners all function smoothly and the guitar stays in tune. The headstock and logo display excellent. This guitar has the proper pre-CBS "spaghetti" logo decal and it looks killer.
The fingerboard is exceptionally clean and the frets are very tall and super clean with zero wear. They appear like-new condition-see photos. The string height is set low for a fast and easy playing experience. The action measures .010" at the 1st fret and .040" at the 12th fret. The guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard. The pickups have an excellent signal and all of the switches function as designed. The neck pickup output measures 7.64 ohms and the bridge pickup output measures 8.04 ohms. The bridge is clean and the vibrato tailpiece works smoothly. I do not have the vibrato arm-but they are readily available on Reverb or other sources.
The guitar has a great weight-it only weighs 8.00 lbs. on the nose-which is fairly lightweight for an offset. It feels comfortable on a strap or in your lap. The offset waist design really helps the guitar balance nicely.
This is a great deal on a great guitar. It is really solid and lots of fun to play.
