Yes!  1st-year issue Vintage 1996 Fender Jag-Stang in Fiesta Red finish.  This guitar was made at the Dyna Gakki Fender factory in Nagano, Japan.  This factory is well-known for producing high quality musical instruments.  This is the earlier 1st version production run of the Jag-Stang.  It features the "designed by Kurt Cobain" sticker on the back of the headstock.  The guitar is 100% original with no modifications.  It has been professionally set up and it is ready to go-it needs nothing.  With the lights out, it's less dangerous.

The body is a slab-style offset design just like the original Fender Mustang model from 1964-1967.  The Fiesta red finish is unfaded and looks really nice.  There is mild handling evidence including a few chips along some edges-see photos.    Overall-the color looks bright with a killer medium vintage-gloss shine.  The neck joint is solid and an excellent fitment.

The neck itself is smooth and straight.  The truss rod functions.  The neck profile is best described as a medium-thin C shape.  The girth measures .803" deep at the 1st fret and .896" deep at the 12th fret.  The nut measures 1.57" wide. The tuners all function well.  The headstock and logo display excellent with no issues.  The rosewood fingerboard is clean and has a beautiful coloring.  The frets have been professionally leveled, cleaned and polished and appear super nice-see photos.  The action is currently set low for a fast and easy playing experience.  The string height is currently .010" at the 1st fret and .045" at the 12th fret.  The bridge is fully adjustable and easily raised if you prefer a higher action.  As it is-the guitar plays really nice and responsive with no dead spots.  It has a strong resonance and feels great.

The pickups both have an excellent signal.  The neck measures 5.78 ohms and the bridge humbucker measures 7.98 ohms.  The pickups are well balanced volume-wise, but the humbucker is definitely a bit louder with lots of drive.  The vibrato functions, but I do not have a vibrato bar.  The electronics are all original-as is everything with the guitar.  The controls function smoothly and quietly.

The guitar is lightweight-it only weighs 7.93 lbs.  It has a nice balance and feels just right.  If you are thinking that this is really cool unit and it would be a killer addition to your collection-You know You're right.  A soft case is included.
