Do you like Rosewood? Me too.
Here's a vintage 1973 Martin D-28 model with beautiful rosewood sides and a 2-piece Rosewood back.  Features a solid Space top, of course.  Built at the Nazareth Pennsylvania U.S.A. Martin factory, this guitar has been well-maintained and lovingly cared for its whole life.  It feels looks and sounds just like a vintage Martin guitar should.  It is in excellent shape inside and out.

The body is solid and in excellent condition as you would expect.  The whole guitar features quintessential hallmark Martin craftsmanship and quality, with a fit and finish unparalleled in the industry to this day.   The top is nice and flat.  The finish is clean and exhibits very light handling evidence.  The construction is super-solid, with no creaks or squeaks.  There is the typical line in the grain between the bridge and the pickguard.  It is static and stable with no issues.  The bridge saddle is a compensated version.  The bridge is solid with no issues.  The sides are very clean.  The backside is clean as well and both sides and especially the back have beautiful contrasting grains and color, see photos.

The neck joint is solid and an excellent fitment.  The Mahogany neck is solid and straight.  It has the classic Martin soft-V neck profile and feels excellent.  The nut width measures slightly more than 1 11/16" (1.71").  The neck depth measures .832" at the 1st fret and 1.100" at the 12th fret.  The original tuners all function perfectly.  The headstock and logo display excellent.  The fingerboard is ebony and it is in good condition.  The frets have been professionally leveled, crowned and polished and appear near-new in condition and height.  The string height measures .010" at the 1st fret and .099" at the 12th fret.  It has a player's relief.

The guitar plays excellent  up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots whatsoever.  The volume and response is excellent and the tone is the  typical warm bright vintage Martin sound that everybody wants.  This guitar is very versatile and is perfect for finger picking, strumming chords, flat picking as well as other techniques.  It is at home everywhere.   It if lots of fun to play around the house and perfect for songwriting or stage-playing.

It comes with the original Martin "dolphin" hardcase.  It is ready to go and enjoy, needs nothing but someone to play it (that's you)!
