This is one beautiful piece of vintage guitar.  1967 Mosrite Ventures Mark I model in original Oxblood finish with matching headstock.   This guitar has a V+3 digit serial number, long 'green' pickguard and bound neck with White silk-screened logo on the matching headstock.  It is very nice and came from an original Mosrite-factory employee.   It is in excellent condition and has no breaks, cracks or repairs.

The body features the crazy offset shape Mosrite is famous for, along with the 'German-carved' top.  The lines are smooth and elegant and in excellent condition.  The finish is a beautiful vintage lacquer gloss and displays very nicely-it looks like wet paint without looking too shiny like a new finish.  The backside is clean also.  The original 'amoeba' neck plate is present and clean.  The neck joint is an excellent fitment.

The neck itself is straight and has a nice smooth feel.  The backside of the neck is finished in the same hue as the body and headstock-it looks killer.  The neck profile is best described as a vintage slim or thin-C shape.  The neck measures 1.60" wide across at the nut (the nut is inside the binding so it will measure slightly smaller by itself).   The neck depth measures .842" deep at the 1st fret and .914" deep at the 12th fret.  The back of the headstock is clean.  The tuners are newer replacement versions of the originals and fit and function well.  The headstock and logo display very beautiful.  Just being a bit nick-picky: Some of the tuner bushings do not sit perfectly flat, they could be pressed in a bit more (.010") if you wanted to do that.  They are nice and solid the way they are so we did not mess with them as they function perfectly as is.  The original White screened logo looks really cool on the deep red headstock.  Truss rod cover is a tortoiseshell version.  The fingerboard appears to be a high-contrast Brazilian rosewood.  It is very striking and looks and feels excellent.  The frets are in super-clean condition with no issues-see photos.  The guitar has a low action and plays fast and easy up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots whatsoever.   The string height is currently .010" and .050" at the 1st and 12th frets, respectively.   It plays really great and is a lot of fun.

The pickups both have an excellent signal and measure 10.46 ohms and 10.03 ohms in the bridge and neck positions, respectively.  The pickups are earlier versions (63-67)  and feature the quintessential logos of the mid-60's Ventures models.  The pickguard is a long-tail green 'guard and it is in excellent condition with no cracks.  The 3-way switch, control harness and potentiometers are all newer pieces and function perfectly.  The knobs and switch cap are the original vintage units-so everything on the outside is vintage original equipment.  The bridge and vibrato function perfectly with no issues.

The guitar weighs only 7.88 lbs so it is indeed a light weight-especially for its size.

It is very comfortable to play.
