Here's a really solid and 100% original vintage 1966 Gibson B-25-N model flat top guitar for your consideration.  This unit was produced at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo Michigan, U.S.A.   The craftsmanship is evident everywhere.  This is a nice example of the B-25 Model; it was introduced in 1962 and eventually replaced the LG-2 model. The single X-braced solid spruce top design with a compact body proved to be a very versatile guitar.  It is in very fine condition and plays and sounds great.  It is fresh set up and ready to go, it needs nothing.

The B-25 design incorporates the familiar vintage Gibson soft-shouldered double-bound body with a solid Spuce top.  The sides are laminate mahogany and the back is a solid mahogany.  The top features the factory single X-bracing.  The finish is Natural and there is awesome line checking all over the top, which becomes more prominent at low angles-see photos.  The top of this guitar is incredibly flat-just the way you want it-see photos.  The construction of the guitar is super solid all over, and there are no breaks, cracks, creaks nor funny business anywhere.  The backside shows off the rich mahogany grain nicely. There are a few small scratches in the clear coat finish at the lower side-see photos.  The neck joint is an excellent fitment and the neck angle is perfect.

The neck itself is constructed of Mahogany and it is super-straight.  The neck is very comfortable and is best described as a vintage C-shape with a slim profile.  The nut width is 1 9/16" wide and the neck depth measures .809" at the 1st fret and 1.005" at the 10th fret.  The original tuners function and the guitar stays in tune excellent.  The headstock and logo both display excellent with a touch of patina and a few check lines.  The truss rod turns freely and even still has factory black paint on it still!  The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard has some really nicely figured grain and it is clean and smooth with minimal wear-see photos.  The frets are the original factory wide versions and present in excellent condition.  The frets have been professionally leveled, crowned polished and look and feel fantastic.  The fingerboard has been oiled and is super-soft.  The action is nice and low and the guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard with zero fret buzz.  The string height currently measures .010" at the 1st fret and .080" at the 12th fret.  If you prefer a higher action, the "adjustable bridge" design allows for an easy adjustment to accommodate that.  The tone is classic Gibson vintage:  It sounds like box with a nice sweetness that won't overpower vocals.  A perfect songwriting and stage unit.  The projection focus is very good.

The guitar is lots of fun to play and super-comfortable.  It is comparable to an 00-sized Martin guitar, so it's fairly compact.  The scale is the classic Gibson 24.75" scale length.  The guitar is a blast to play and feels great.

Comes with the original Gibson Alligator-skin case, which is in nice condition.
