Here is an excellent example of a vintage 1965 Guild T-100-D model aka Thin Twin.  This guitar is super solid and in excellent condition.  It was made at the Guild Factory in Hoboken New Jersey, U.S.A.  It has the standard hallmarks of Guild craftsmanship: excellent fitment and superb construction.  The guitar is really well-built and has no creaks or rattles.  There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.  It has been very well cared for its whole life, as is evident in the photos.  It is 100% original, with a Bigsby added.  The original Guild Chrome Harp "G" tailpiece and wooden bridge are also included.  It has been professionally set up and it is ready to go-it needs nothing.    Lets explore further...

The body is in excellent condition.  The Cherry sunburst finish is in excellent condition with way above average coloring.  The edges are dark Cherry and the center is a brilliant yellow.   There is minimal handling evidence-the only spot of any really notation is a couple of pecks along the edge on the top backside-see photos.  The binding around the top edge is in excellent condition. The backside is nice and clean and the finish is really beautiful.  The front strap pin was moved about 1/2" away from the original spot at some point-it is in the same alignment as the original-see photos.  The neck joint is super solid and the neck angle is perfect.

The neck itself is straight as an arrow.  The truss rod functions.  The neck feels nice and smooth with zero issues.  The neck is a medium-slim with a nice vintage C-shaped profile.  The neck girth measures .829" at the 1st fret and .960" at the 12th fret.  The nut measures 1.67" wide.   The tuning machines all function smoothly.  The Headstock and Logo display excellent.  The inlay is a classy Guild touch.  The rosewood fingerboard is clean with minimal wear.  The frets have been professionally leveled, crowned and polished-they look and feel spectacular-see photos.  The action is currently set low for a fast and easy playing experience.  The string height measures .010" at the 1st fret and .045" at the 12th fret.  The bridge is fully adjustable so you can easily raise the action if you prefer that.  As it is-it plays excellent with a light touch.  The guitar plays lights-out up and down the fingerboard with zero dead spots.  It is a lot of fun to play and sounds great acoustically-an excellent signal that it will have great resonance once it is plugged in.

The pickups have an excellent signal and great balance.  The neck pickup reads 8.17 ohms and the bridge reads 6.92 ohms.  The bridge actually has a bit more volume and brilliant bite.  These pickups have a great vintage 'woody' tone and work well with strumming and picking.  They seem to really stand out with Rockabilly or Jazz styles.  The controls all function smoothly and quietly.  The Bigsby vibrato works smoothly and looks killer.

The guitar is an excellent weight-it only weighs 6.32 lbs.  You can forget all about shoulder fatigue with this one.  You can play all night long and still feel fresh.  As previously mentioned-the original Guild Harp tailpiece and wooden bridge saddle are included.   It is easily converted back to original if you wish to do that.  The original hardshell case is included of course.
