This 2022 Fender USA Ultra Stratocaster model is a Limited Edition made exclusively for Guitar Center. The guitar sells new for $2599. It is a professional-level guitar made with exceptional quality control and fitment. This one is near-new condition and has been professionally set up. It needs nothing, it is 100% original and it is ready to play.
The body features standard front and back contours with an additional contour on the backside 'scooped' in the neck joint area-see photos. The ergonomics are outstanding. The finish is "Denim burst" and shows off a nicely flamed top. The finish is super-clean front and back with only a minimal of any handling evidence visible-it looks very close to mint, new condition. The backside has a rich, high-contrast grain-Fender lists this body as either Alder or Ash...I'm guessing this is an Ash body. The neck pocket is an excellent fitment.
The neck itself has a satin finish and very smooth feel. It is straight and perfect. The Bone nut measures 1.70" wide and it has a modern D-shaped tapered profile. It measures .812" deep at the 1st fret and .847" at the 12th fret. The tuners are the Fender locking units and work perfectly-the guitar stays in tune very well. The headstock features the classy black finish with a raised Chrome Fender Stratocaster logo. It displays excellent. Looks killer from a distance and just gets better the closer you get. The fingerboard is "Striped Ebony" and it is super clean with some really nice high contrast grain coloring. The Medium-Jumbo Frets are like new-see photos. The action is set low for a fast and easy playing experience-the guitar plays like butter with an effortless touch. The string height is currently set at .010" at the 1st fret and .040" at the 12th fret. There are no dead spots anywhere. The fingerboard features a 25.5" scale with 22 frets. The edged of the fingerboard are rolled from the factory and the sport additional finish coverage for a super-soft and smooth feel.
All pickups have an excellent signal and this is the 5th generation of the Noiseless pickups. The neck position measures 7.72 ohms, the middle measures 7.81 ohms and the bridge position measures 9.05 ohms. The S-1 electronics feature a hidden button on top of the volume knob that activates the neck position along with whichever pickup is selected. The tone is classic vintage Stratocaster with zero noise. The bridge and vibrato system all function smoothly with no issues. Comes with the factory strap-locks.
The guitar weighs 8.36 lbs. and sits nice and comfortably in your lap and balances excellent on a strap. The original hardcase and electronic notation are included along with the Fender vinyl pouch.
