Here's a nice solid 2010 Gibson Les Paul Studio model in its original Alpine White finish.    This guitar was made at the Nashville TN. U.S.A. Gibson Factory.  It is a typical studio model-with the gold hardware.  It is set up and ready to go and it also comes with its original Gibson hard shell case!

The body and neck are made of mahogany with a set-neck construction technique.  The top has a carved relief, just like a Les Paul Standard or Custom model.  The guitar is in very nice condition.  There are a few small chips in the finish on the backside edge-see photos.  The white finish has a classy vintage tint to it and it also has a vintage style gloss.  Adding to the Vintage Vibe, there are some very small line checks in the finish-mostly on the backside of the neck.   There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.  The original potentiometer set was replaced with Orange drop caps and new potentiometers-but the original Gibson Potentiometer set, board and caps are included.

The neck joint is solid and a good fitment.  The neck itself is smooth and perfectly straight with no issues.  The neck profile is best described as a typical 1960's slim taper Les Paul shape-it measures .817" deep at the 1st fret and .990" deep at the 12th fret.  The nut measures 1.70" (1 11/16" ) wide.   The tuners all work perfectly and smoothly.  The headstock and logo display nicely.   The string height is set low for an easy and fast playing experience.   The action is fully adjustable so you can raise the string height if you wish.  Currently, the string height measures .010" at the 1st fret and .050" at the 12th fret.  The Ebony fingerboard is super clean.  The pearloid position markers are clean and shine nicely. The frets are near-new condition and have been crowned and polished.  They have an excellent height-see photos.  The guitar plays great up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots.  The original pickups have a good clear signal-the neck pickup output measures 7.74 ohms and the bridge measures 14.07 ohms.  Despite the disparity, the volume balance is perfect.   The pickups are the original Gibson 498T/490R humbuckers.  There is minor wear on the pickup covers.

The bridge is clean and functions perfectly as does the tailpiece.

The guitar is very lightweight ( only 7.94 lbs. ) and comfortable to hold whether it's on a strap or in your lap.   It is a lot of fun to play and the finish really makes it quite the looker.    The original Gibson hard case is included for safe keeping.
